Inclusive And Accessible Support In The Merseyside Area

Training providers

We offer qualifications through Open Awards  in English, Maths, Employability and creative arts. Our sessions are all devised by a qualified teacher and are multi sensory to ensure they are engaging and relevant. Levels are carefully matched to each individual to ensure there is challenge and achievement.

Dance Syndrome

We worked with the fabulous Dance Syndrome to achieve a dance leader qualification.

We can now deliver dance lessons and we pay our Actioneers to teach dance at the centre. We are starting an exciting pilot in a local special school to teach dance as part of the schools enrichment offer. This is a fabulous paid opportunity for us but also a wonderful way to inspire young disabled people.

The wonderful Julie Nicholson visited on 10/3/26 to give us our Level 1 Dance Leader Certificates. We are very proud of everyone for their hard work and commitment.

Workplace support for disabled People

Our training for disabled people is in work related skills, travel training, life skills and different performance arts like drama, dance, photography, singing and art.

It ends with a recognised qualification at the appropriate level for the student.

EDGE HILL UNIVERSITY

We are very proud to be part of a co-production pilot with Edge Hill University. We work with the learning disability nurse team to provide actors for their clinical simulations. This is a paid opportunity.

We are very proud to share that our pilot has been shortlisted for a Nursing Times award. Watch this space.

Had a lovely morning at Act for Action CIC today, presenting their team with certificates from the Dance Leadership Level 1 qualification that we recently delivered with them. Congratulations everyone on this fabulous achievement! 🏆     Julie Nicholson, Dance Syndrome
